You will then be able to Add sessions to your schedule and get virtual meeting access information specific to each session.

⭐️Once you add a session to your Schedule, it virtually "reserves" your spot. If you are unable to attend one of your reserved sessions, please remove it from your Schedule ASAP. In addition, we have limited access to only allow for adding one session per time slot.
⭐️Sessions marked as Full, will NOT BE ABLE TO BE JOINED.
⚠️Due to the virtual, open nature of our event, reserving your virtual seat does not necessarily guarantee your spot in the presenter’s chosen video conference platform. Both the presenters and event facilitators are not responsible for guaranteeing your virtual seat. We have tried to employ strategies to reduce the chance of this from happening.

GC Hawley Middle School
7th Grade ELA Teacher
vaughanar@gcs.k12.nc.us
I have taught English Language Arts and Social Studies for the last 10 years in both Person and Granville County. Currently, I teach 7th Grade English Language Arts. I try to take an integrated Humanities approach to my instruction using both the ELA and Social Studies standards. The majority of my units are built on websites that allow students to be self motivated and self reflecting. If technology is our future, we should be moving students toward the regular integration of it an a variety of application.
I currently hold licensure as a Reading Specialist, AIG Specialist, K-12 Reading Teacher, 7-9 ELA Teacher, and K-6 Elementary Education Teacher. I obtained my BS in Elementary Education from ECU and my MaEd from NCSU. I am completing my National Boards in Early Adolescent Literature this year.
