You will then be able to Add sessions to your schedule and get virtual meeting access information specific to each session.

⭐️Once you add a session to your Schedule, it virtually "reserves" your spot. If you are unable to attend one of your reserved sessions, please remove it from your Schedule ASAP. In addition, we have limited access to only allow for adding one session per time slot.
⭐️Sessions marked as Full, will NOT BE ABLE TO BE JOINED.
⚠️Due to the virtual, open nature of our event, reserving your virtual seat does not necessarily guarantee your spot in the presenter’s chosen video conference platform. Both the presenters and event facilitators are not responsible for guaranteeing your virtual seat. We have tried to employ strategies to reduce the chance of this from happening.

Student Voice Through Seesaw and Flipgrid

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
Add digital tools to your belt through hands-on practice! Seesaw and Flipgrid are great go-tos for adding to your science lessons! Please bring a device!

In this session, we will talk about why participants should be integrating digital tools into their elementary classrooms. We will focus mainly on Seesaw and Flipgrid and connecting content goals with English Language Arts standards using these open ended technology tools. Participants will have hands on experience with both Flipgrid and Seesaw from teacher ambassadors of both tools. We will also provide app-smashing ideas for both technology tools. Participants will explore ways to integrate literacy and curriculum area goals through the application of these technology tools. We will focus application on vocabulary and speaking and listening standards. Presenters will provide examples of integration in k-2 classrooms as well as work time for participants to ask questions and develop their own plan for integrating these tools into their units and beyond. Participants will need a device of their own to be able to participate in the hands on portions. We even have some swag giveaways!
