You will then be able to Add sessions to your schedule and get virtual meeting access information specific to each session. 

⭐️Once you add a session to your Schedule, it virtually "reserves" your spot. If you are unable to attend one of your reserved sessions, please remove it from your Schedule ASAP. In addition, we have limited access to only allow for adding one session per time slot.
⭐️Sessions marked as Full, will NOT BE ABLE TO BE JOINED.
⚠️Due to the virtual, open nature of our event, reserving your virtual seat does not necessarily guarantee your spot in the presenter’s chosen video conference platform. Both the presenters and event facilitators are not responsible for guaranteeing your virtual seat. We have tried to employ strategies to reduce the chance of this from happening.

Organized by Adam Wiseman, Digital Learning and Innovation Coordinator, McDowell County Schools and Stacy Lovdahl, Educator on Loan, NCDPI Digital Teaching and Learning, our goal is to provide teachers with access to the expertise of North Carolina educators and beyond, who are successfully using virtual/distance learning tools and strategies.

When I graduated from college and set out cross country to “find myself”, my father handed me the book,”The Worst-Case Scenario Survival Handbook" by Joshua Piven and David Borgenicht. Anticipating I would never need it, I quickly threw it aside. It wasn’t until I was faced with an unimaginable situation that I wished I had paid more attention to the book. As leaders, we have the responsibility of anticipating the unexpected and knowing how to resolve it. But what do you do when the "unexpected" comes knocking on your door? In this session, we will discuss some of the "unexpected" opportunities that you may encounter on your journey to Personalized Learning and explore tips that not only help you survive but also thrive as a community of learners.
