You will then be able to Add sessions to your schedule and get virtual meeting access information specific to each session.

⭐️Once you add a session to your Schedule, it virtually "reserves" your spot. If you are unable to attend one of your reserved sessions, please remove it from your Schedule ASAP. In addition, we have limited access to only allow for adding one session per time slot.
⭐️Sessions marked as Full, will NOT BE ABLE TO BE JOINED.
⚠️Due to the virtual, open nature of our event, reserving your virtual seat does not necessarily guarantee your spot in the presenter’s chosen video conference platform. Both the presenters and event facilitators are not responsible for guaranteeing your virtual seat. We have tried to employ strategies to reduce the chance of this from happening.

Student-Led STEM: STEM Buddies and More!

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
I will be presenting a student-led STEM program that I am leading at my school. The focus will be on our STEM Buddies program where upper grade elementary students design STEM activities/ challenges for lower grade classes. The students then go to the classrooms to facilitate the STEM challenges as well as work with and interact with the students. The presentation will also touch on other student-led STEM activities, including STEM Expert Groups, where students work in pairs to become experts on STEM materials, and School Event Planning Teams, where students plan school STEM events (for certain grade levels or for the whole school).

Attendees will be able to walk-through STEM challenges/ activities designed by the STEM Buddies student leaders and interact with the STEM materials used, such as Bee-Bots, Cubetto, Keva Planks, Makey Makeys, and Easi-Scopes.
