You will then be able to Add sessions to your schedule and get virtual meeting access information specific to each session.

⭐️Once you add a session to your Schedule, it virtually "reserves" your spot. If you are unable to attend one of your reserved sessions, please remove it from your Schedule ASAP. In addition, we have limited access to only allow for adding one session per time slot.
⭐️Sessions marked as Full, will NOT BE ABLE TO BE JOINED.
⚠️Due to the virtual, open nature of our event, reserving your virtual seat does not necessarily guarantee your spot in the presenter’s chosen video conference platform. Both the presenters and event facilitators are not responsible for guaranteeing your virtual seat. We have tried to employ strategies to reduce the chance of this from happening.

Taste and See PD: Cultivating a Culture of Professional Learning

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
Participants will engage in an interactive session through a sample Professional Learning Tasting modeled after what we do for our own staff. A sample tasting station will be set-up at the back of the room. This will introduce and provide a contextual example to jump-start a discussion around changing the culture of professional learning in a high school setting. Participants will complete a poll to guide discussion direction while exploring a Canvas page set-up with different Professional Learning track choices around the Digital Learning Competencies. These tracks provide themed experiences that we have utilized in our school. Participants will hear from our teachers on the track choice process, learning within the tracks, and how it has redefined our culture of adult learning. Focus will be given to how we have used teacher choice and voice to guide professional learning in a fun and innovative environment.
