You will then be able to Add sessions to your schedule and get virtual meeting access information specific to each session.

⭐️Once you add a session to your Schedule, it virtually "reserves" your spot. If you are unable to attend one of your reserved sessions, please remove it from your Schedule ASAP. In addition, we have limited access to only allow for adding one session per time slot.
⭐️Sessions marked as Full, will NOT BE ABLE TO BE JOINED.
⚠️Due to the virtual, open nature of our event, reserving your virtual seat does not necessarily guarantee your spot in the presenter’s chosen video conference platform. Both the presenters and event facilitators are not responsible for guaranteeing your virtual seat. We have tried to employ strategies to reduce the chance of this from happening.

Ride the #WakeletWave to Tame the Teaching Tsunami

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
In this session, participants will reflect on the organization and delivery of their instructional resources and classroom or school information. Through guided, hands-on practice and plenty of real world examples, they will learn to use the Wakelet platform and begin building Collections that will streamline those processes allowing them to curate ANY resource they can view on a computer screen including: Photos, Videos, Website links, Google Files, PDFs, Tweets, Flipgrid videos.

Wakelet will file like Google Drive. Collect like Symbaloo. Categorize like Google Classroom. Share like Twitter. Communicate like a newsletter. Deliver instruction like an LMS.

With creativity and a purpose, Wakelet will allow anyone from district leaders to classroom teachers and everyone in between to combine the functions of many different tools in just one versatile platform. It can even app smash! And with the Chrome extension resource curation becomes even easier.

This session will also address ways that Wakelet can be used to support diverse audience needs. Through their partnership with Microsoft, Immersive Reader is available for all text in a collection. In addition, Flipgrid videos can be recorded directly into a collection opening up avenues of communication for all ages and types of learners, no matter their writing skills.
If Wakelet can do all of this for educators, just think of what it can do for students. Attendees will leave with a head full of ideas...AND a reorganized collection of...EVERYTHING!
