You will then be able to Add sessions to your schedule and get virtual meeting access information specific to each session. 

⭐️Once you add a session to your Schedule, it virtually "reserves" your spot. If you are unable to attend one of your reserved sessions, please remove it from your Schedule ASAP. In addition, we have limited access to only allow for adding one session per time slot.
⭐️Sessions marked as Full, will NOT BE ABLE TO BE JOINED.
⚠️Due to the virtual, open nature of our event, reserving your virtual seat does not necessarily guarantee your spot in the presenter’s chosen video conference platform. Both the presenters and event facilitators are not responsible for guaranteeing your virtual seat. We have tried to employ strategies to reduce the chance of this from happening.

Organized by Adam Wiseman, Digital Learning and Innovation Coordinator, McDowell County Schools and Stacy Lovdahl, Educator on Loan, NCDPI Digital Teaching and Learning, our goal is to provide teachers with access to the expertise of North Carolina educators and beyond, who are successfully using virtual/distance learning tools and strategies.

Digital Breakouts 101: Unlock Learning for Title I Scholars

Learners will follow along on their devices to create their own digital breakout using G Suite. Learners will first be shown a completed digital breakout, then will be guided through steps of creating pages within Google Sites, embedding “Unlock codes” using Google Forms, and embedding resources from Google Drive directly into the breakout. This will be done by walking learners through step-by-step using a projector. Learners will leave the session with their own digital breakout, as well as a link for a Google Slides presentation that includes Screencastify videos covering what they learned and did in session.
