You will then be able to Add sessions to your schedule and get virtual meeting access information specific to each session.

⭐️Once you add a session to your Schedule, it virtually "reserves" your spot. If you are unable to attend one of your reserved sessions, please remove it from your Schedule ASAP. In addition, we have limited access to only allow for adding one session per time slot.
⭐️Sessions marked as Full, will NOT BE ABLE TO BE JOINED.
⚠️Due to the virtual, open nature of our event, reserving your virtual seat does not necessarily guarantee your spot in the presenter’s chosen video conference platform. Both the presenters and event facilitators are not responsible for guaranteeing your virtual seat. We have tried to employ strategies to reduce the chance of this from happening.

Interaction is Key: Digital Notebooks for Engaged Learners

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
Many teachers have used “interactive” notebooks to reinforce skills and concepts, but they can sometimes be messy, cumbersome, and time consuming. Those same teachers know the basics of Google products--however, knowing the basics is just scratching the surface of what one can actually do with them. In this session, we’d like to help others create and utilize Google slides “Digital Notebooks” to encourage student engagement. By combining the creativity of an interactive notebook with the digital components of Google Slides, students can be offered a truly unique digital learning experience. In order to present this tool, we would walk participants through the use of an interactive digital notebook so that they might see the concept through the eyes of the student. Then we would provide templates and tools to get them thinking about how they might use this resource in their own classroom.
