Shuttle Schedule

Friday, March 6 • 9:00am - 9:45am
Integrating multiple technologies and student choice into content area lessons

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
Participants will choose two of four technologies (Merge Cubes, Sphero, Makey-Makey and Ozobot) to connect with curriculum standards. Attendees will take various types of poetry and bring them to life. For example, attendees will code a Sphero to show visual evidence of the figurative language while the poem is being read aloud. Participants will experience how we engage students in content areas they typically dread. In our presentation/demonstration that area will be poetry but these technologies can be connected to many other content areas such as math, social studies, science and the arts which will also be discussed.
