You will then be able to Add sessions to your schedule and get virtual meeting access information specific to each session.

⭐️Once you add a session to your Schedule, it virtually "reserves" your spot. If you are unable to attend one of your reserved sessions, please remove it from your Schedule ASAP. In addition, we have limited access to only allow for adding one session per time slot.
⭐️Sessions marked as Full, will NOT BE ABLE TO BE JOINED.
⚠️Due to the virtual, open nature of our event, reserving your virtual seat does not necessarily guarantee your spot in the presenter’s chosen video conference platform. Both the presenters and event facilitators are not responsible for guaranteeing your virtual seat. We have tried to employ strategies to reduce the chance of this from happening.

20/20 Virtual Vision-Creating your own Google Expeditions

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
Participants will be using virtual reality goggles (I will bring the goggles), they will then look at the 3D site poly.google.com which has 3d tours so they can search for tours related to their subject. Then we will go into Google Expeditions and they will create their own tours. I will also show them how to create with their phones and an app but even without the app they can create from Google maps. I will provide them with lesson templates so they can practice creating.
Here is my description:

Detailed Description

Create an immersive experience with Google Expeditions in the classroom. Using virtual reality builds background knowledge and brings your lessons to life. Now you can FOCUS on how to create and share YOUR OWN Google Expedition tours. Better yet, have your STUDENTS create their own virtual tours and share with the world! Virtual Reality allows students to go anywhere in the world or use personal learning experiences to create their own. Join this NCTIES session to discover a new way to keep students engaged while developing research, literacy, technology and many more skills. You will receive resources like rubrics, student directions, lesson plans and more to immediately implement this resource in your classroom. If you would like to use your own photos please download the "Cardboard Camera" app to take 360 degree photos.
