You will then be able to Add sessions to your schedule and get virtual meeting access information specific to each session.

⭐️Once you add a session to your Schedule, it virtually "reserves" your spot. If you are unable to attend one of your reserved sessions, please remove it from your Schedule ASAP. In addition, we have limited access to only allow for adding one session per time slot.
⭐️Sessions marked as Full, will NOT BE ABLE TO BE JOINED.
⚠️Due to the virtual, open nature of our event, reserving your virtual seat does not necessarily guarantee your spot in the presenter’s chosen video conference platform. Both the presenters and event facilitators are not responsible for guaranteeing your virtual seat. We have tried to employ strategies to reduce the chance of this from happening.

Blended Learning: Make the Perfect Instructional and Learning Smoothie

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
Facilitators are modeling what blended learning looks like from a teacher/facilitator perspective while participants are actively engaged and learning about aspects of blended learning and how to make it work for their classroom. The session will include ways to use formative assessments, digital tools, and sound pedagogy strategies and activities to create the perfect "blend". Participants will be immersed in the topic by using digital tools on their devices such as mentimeter, gimkit, pear deck as well as participate in oral discussion, collaboration and other active/hands-on activities that do not require technology. Participants will leave the session understanding the balance of technology with sound pedagogical practices and classroom activities that engage students with more than just monotone 'screen time' and incorporate brain-based strategies and C's of an innovative classroom.
