You will then be able to Add sessions to your schedule and get virtual meeting access information specific to each session. 

⭐️Once you add a session to your Schedule, it virtually "reserves" your spot. If you are unable to attend one of your reserved sessions, please remove it from your Schedule ASAP. In addition, we have limited access to only allow for adding one session per time slot.
⭐️Sessions marked as Full, will NOT BE ABLE TO BE JOINED.
⚠️Due to the virtual, open nature of our event, reserving your virtual seat does not necessarily guarantee your spot in the presenter’s chosen video conference platform. Both the presenters and event facilitators are not responsible for guaranteeing your virtual seat. We have tried to employ strategies to reduce the chance of this from happening.

Organized by Adam Wiseman, Digital Learning and Innovation Coordinator, McDowell County Schools and Stacy Lovdahl, Educator on Loan, NCDPI Digital Teaching and Learning, our goal is to provide teachers with access to the expertise of North Carolina educators and beyond, who are successfully using virtual/distance learning tools and strategies.

eSports in Education?

In this session attendees will learn:

-How to incorporate eSports into education
-How to develop eSports curriculum
-How to start an eSports community/club

This session is going to be set up as a discussion panel, not a formal presentation. This will encourage multiple perspectives and audience participation.

How will learners be engaged?

- Discussion will include videos, images, and case of real eSports implementation at UNCW and New Hanover County Schools. This is a how to with a real examples.
- Q&A with audience to address concerns and implementation hurdles
- Students @ UNCW will be participating to describe the student perspective
