You will then be able to Add sessions to your schedule and get virtual meeting access information specific to each session. 

⭐️Once you add a session to your Schedule, it virtually "reserves" your spot. If you are unable to attend one of your reserved sessions, please remove it from your Schedule ASAP. In addition, we have limited access to only allow for adding one session per time slot.
⭐️Sessions marked as Full, will NOT BE ABLE TO BE JOINED.
⚠️Due to the virtual, open nature of our event, reserving your virtual seat does not necessarily guarantee your spot in the presenter’s chosen video conference platform. Both the presenters and event facilitators are not responsible for guaranteeing your virtual seat. We have tried to employ strategies to reduce the chance of this from happening.

Organized by Adam Wiseman, Digital Learning and Innovation Coordinator, McDowell County Schools and Stacy Lovdahl, Educator on Loan, NCDPI Digital Teaching and Learning, our goal is to provide teachers with access to the expertise of North Carolina educators and beyond, who are successfully using virtual/distance learning tools and strategies.

This session is geared towards beginners who need specific instructions about the basics of Screencastify and the many different ways educators and students can use it. It is a free tool that gives students the opportunity to respond to questions without having to type or write anything. Educators will not only learn how to give feedback to students using Screencastify, but students can take assessments and use Screencastify also as part of their responses. For example, this is great to use with students in foreign language classes who need to speak the language as part of an assessment. It's pretty amazing how much time can be saved with the extension, Screencastify. It is sure to be a game-changer for anyone who works with teachers, students, or both!
