You will then be able to Add sessions to your schedule and get virtual meeting access information specific to each session. 

⭐️Once you add a session to your Schedule, it virtually "reserves" your spot. If you are unable to attend one of your reserved sessions, please remove it from your Schedule ASAP. In addition, we have limited access to only allow for adding one session per time slot.
⭐️Sessions marked as Full, will NOT BE ABLE TO BE JOINED.
⚠️Due to the virtual, open nature of our event, reserving your virtual seat does not necessarily guarantee your spot in the presenter’s chosen video conference platform. Both the presenters and event facilitators are not responsible for guaranteeing your virtual seat. We have tried to employ strategies to reduce the chance of this from happening.

Organized by Adam Wiseman, Digital Learning and Innovation Coordinator, McDowell County Schools and Stacy Lovdahl, Educator on Loan, NCDPI Digital Teaching and Learning, our goal is to provide teachers with access to the expertise of North Carolina educators and beyond, who are successfully using virtual/distance learning tools and strategies.

The Makerspace Movement is Real Awesome: Linking the "Old School Crafty" with New Age Technology

In this session attendees will see how to combine the use of technology while students are creating projects and problem solving with makerspace mentality. Attendees will see and leave with 10-20 lesson plans that are PBL inspired and cover all subject areas. Some of the session highlights are:

Stop Motion Animation: Animation through the use of the free imotion app,
Green Screen Technology with WeVideo,
SeeSaw: how to use the online portfolio with students to showcase projects,

LittleBits Electronics: creating cities using these circuit bits
