You will then be able to Add sessions to your schedule and get virtual meeting access information specific to each session.

⭐️Once you add a session to your Schedule, it virtually "reserves" your spot. If you are unable to attend one of your reserved sessions, please remove it from your Schedule ASAP. In addition, we have limited access to only allow for adding one session per time slot.
⭐️Sessions marked as Full, will NOT BE ABLE TO BE JOINED.
⚠️Due to the virtual, open nature of our event, reserving your virtual seat does not necessarily guarantee your spot in the presenter’s chosen video conference platform. Both the presenters and event facilitators are not responsible for guaranteeing your virtual seat. We have tried to employ strategies to reduce the chance of this from happening.

Bogue Sound Elementary School/Carteret County Schools
STEM Instructor (K-5)/ITF
Newport, NC
In a nutshell:

Currently in my nineteenth year as a public educator.  I am a STEM instructor and Instructional Technology Facilitator at Bogue Sound Elementary School, located in Newport, NC (Carteret County).  This is my sixth year as the STEM instructor at BSES, which I love every bit of working with kindergarten through fifth grade.  Recently completed my Environmental Education certification and Google Level 1 certification.  I am a 2016 NCSTA recipient of the Outstanding Science Teacher for my district, and the 2021 EPA Presidential Innovation Award for Environmental Educators.  Other than teaching, I am also employed with the Emerald Isle Parks and Recreation Department as a laborer and have held this position for fifteen years.  I would say I have a laid back personality, am an introvert, better listener than talker, do my best to stay grounded and humble as well as not let things out of my control get the better or me.  I do what I can to keep perspective and I know I have much to learn.  I seek out opportunities, such as events like this, to gain wisdom from others more experienced in their given field including mine.  I enjoy working outdoors, fumbling on my guitar, exercising and challenging myself physically as well as mentally, and carpentry (novice).  I was born and raised in southern Indiana (Mitchell - home of Gus Grissom) and am a graduate of Indiana State University.
