⭐️Once you add a session to your Schedule, it virtually "reserves" your spot. If you are unable to attend one of your reserved sessions, please remove it from your Schedule ASAP. In addition, we have limited access to only allow for adding one session per time slot.
⭐️Sessions marked as Full, will NOT BE ABLE TO BE JOINED.
⚠️Due to the virtual, open nature of our event, reserving your virtual seat does not necessarily guarantee your spot in the presenter’s chosen video conference platform. Both the presenters and event facilitators are not responsible for guaranteeing your virtual seat. We have tried to employ strategies to reduce the chance of this from happening.

Organized by Adam Wiseman, Digital Learning and Innovation Coordinator, McDowell County Schools and Stacy Lovdahl, Educator on Loan, NCDPI Digital Teaching and Learning, our goal is to provide teachers with access to the expertise of North Carolina educators and beyond, who are successfully using virtual/distance learning tools and strategies.

Being the oldest of 3 siblings and the daughter of a middle-grade math teacher of 42 years, teaching has always been in Nancy’s blood. During her tenure in the Wake County Public School System, Nancy was an elementary educator, instructional coach, and district administrator. After leaving Wake County, Nancy spent ten years at the Friday Institute for Educational Innovation, most recently as the Associate Director of Professional Learning. She built professional learning programs for instructional coaches, principals, and district leaders in North Carolina and the US.

Nancy is passionate about building professional learning and communities of practice to support instructional coaches and school leaders focused on current problems of practice. With both a local and national presence, she seeks to create meaningful learning experiences that inspire educators.
When she is not at work you can find Nancy enjoying time with her family on a beach or organizing a fun get together with friends.
