⭐️Once you add a session to your Schedule, it virtually "reserves" your spot. If you are unable to attend one of your reserved sessions, please remove it from your Schedule ASAP. In addition, we have limited access to only allow for adding one session per time slot.
⭐️Sessions marked as Full, will NOT BE ABLE TO BE JOINED.
⚠️Due to the virtual, open nature of our event, reserving your virtual seat does not necessarily guarantee your spot in the presenter’s chosen video conference platform. Both the presenters and event facilitators are not responsible for guaranteeing your virtual seat. We have tried to employ strategies to reduce the chance of this from happening.

Organized by Adam Wiseman, Digital Learning and Innovation Coordinator, McDowell County Schools and Stacy Lovdahl, Educator on Loan, NCDPI Digital Teaching and Learning, our goal is to provide teachers with access to the expertise of North Carolina educators and beyond, who are successfully using virtual/distance learning tools and strategies.

I currently serve Mount Airy City Schools (MACS) as the Director of Innovative Programming and Federal Programs. I also support and serve as the coordinator of our Beginning Teachers and Academically and Intellectually Gifted programs. As the primary grant writer for the district, I also support our 21st Century grants for after-school and summer programming and digital teaching and learning. One of the most recent additions to my work was the opportunity to lead our new MACS Micro-School, which is a hybrid designed program to support students and families. This year I have been working with 21 students in Kindergarten through 5th grade, they remind me daily of my why and challenge me to be a better educator each day.
