You will then be able to Add sessions to your schedule and get virtual meeting access information specific to each session. 

⭐️Once you add a session to your Schedule, it virtually "reserves" your spot. If you are unable to attend one of your reserved sessions, please remove it from your Schedule ASAP. In addition, we have limited access to only allow for adding one session per time slot.
⭐️Sessions marked as Full, will NOT BE ABLE TO BE JOINED.
⚠️Due to the virtual, open nature of our event, reserving your virtual seat does not necessarily guarantee your spot in the presenter’s chosen video conference platform. Both the presenters and event facilitators are not responsible for guaranteeing your virtual seat. We have tried to employ strategies to reduce the chance of this from happening.

Organized by Adam Wiseman, Digital Learning and Innovation Coordinator, McDowell County Schools and Stacy Lovdahl, Educator on Loan, NCDPI Digital Teaching and Learning, our goal is to provide teachers with access to the expertise of North Carolina educators and beyond, who are successfully using virtual/distance learning tools and strategies.

Kelli Self has been an educator for 26 years, 25 of those years with Buncombe County Schools. Formerly a School Library Media Coordinator and English Teacher at A.C. Reynolds High School and Lead Media and Digital Learning Specialist for Buncombe County Schools, Ms. Self is currently one of the School Library Media Coordinators at CD Owen High School in Black Mountain, NC. She is Nationally Board Certified in English Language Arts, holds a Master’s Degree in Education, is a Mentor for the North Carolina Digital Leaders Coaching Network, is a North Carolina Digital Learning Competencies Ambassador and Ignite Speaker, and is a Google Certified Trainer. Ms. Self was an early adopter of instructional technology when in 1998 she was awarded a Walmart classroom grant and chose to purchase a digital camera with a FLOPPY DRIVE. Always a tinkerer, she may have also pioneered the SMART Board in Buncombe County Schools using a Dell Optiplex GX1, a TV on a cart, and about 30 feet of coax cable. Since then, she has focused on encouraging students to design their own learning experiences and hopes to inspire them to use their resources to impact change in the world.
