You will then be able to Add sessions to your schedule and get virtual meeting access information specific to each session. 

⭐️Once you add a session to your Schedule, it virtually "reserves" your spot. If you are unable to attend one of your reserved sessions, please remove it from your Schedule ASAP. In addition, we have limited access to only allow for adding one session per time slot.
⭐️Sessions marked as Full, will NOT BE ABLE TO BE JOINED.
⚠️Due to the virtual, open nature of our event, reserving your virtual seat does not necessarily guarantee your spot in the presenter’s chosen video conference platform. Both the presenters and event facilitators are not responsible for guaranteeing your virtual seat. We have tried to employ strategies to reduce the chance of this from happening.

Organized by Adam Wiseman, Digital Learning and Innovation Coordinator, McDowell County Schools and Stacy Lovdahl, Educator on Loan, NCDPI Digital Teaching and Learning, our goal is to provide teachers with access to the expertise of North Carolina educators and beyond, who are successfully using virtual/distance learning tools and strategies.

Dr. Lisa Hervey, NBCT, is a Teaching Professor in the Digital Learning & Teaching Master’s Program at North Carolina State University since 2008. Her 21-year tenure started with 10 years as a public school 6th - 8th Language Arts teacher, and she spent 10 years as a Senior Research Scholar at the Friday Institute for Educational Innovation at NCSU. She is a National Board Certified Teacher and earned an M.Ed. in K-12 Reading and Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction from NCSU. She has led revolutionary district-wide culture shifts via blended models of professional learning and strategic planning to support local technology initiatives and collaborated on several Massive Open Online Course for Educators, Coaching Digital Learning and Learning Differences. Her most recent publication, in Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge - Exploring, Developing, and Assessing TPACK, stems from her research on veteran teachers’ complex change process when developing pervasive, robust digital learning and teaching capacities. She has a strong vision and passion for what it takes to meet educators, at all levels, “where they are,” to develop strategic plans and professional learning that addresses their immediate needs to further student achievement.
